The wife and I took our kids to see Winnie The Pooh. The movie was better then I thought it would be and I enjoyed the more "classic" feel. My only complaint was that the movie was too short but I have to say it was a lot more enjoyable to watch then most movies I've seen lately. :p

    Winnie The Pooh (2011) - Rating: 4.5/5

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows - Part 2

I'm gonna try and rate this film without comparing it to the book too much. I loved it all until the final showdown between Voldemort and Harry. That was pretty shitty imo and everyone I watched it with said the same thing. I felt a little disappointed with that but overall it was an excellent movie. I think Neville was brilliant and Snape's story was done perfectly! I definitely want to watch Part 1 and Part 2 together as one long movie. :)

    8/10

Suckerpunch isn't that bad, it had a cool concept it was just executed poorly. Plus the art direction and soundtrack are amazing.

Captain America: The First Avenger, 7/10. Spoiled too much in the trailer and needed more action IMO. Tommy Lee Jones fucking owned in this movie though.

I loved the soundtrack but the movie itself was extremely pointless. It's downright laughable.

    ^
You know the film is a disaster when hot chicks and polished special effects don't even cut it.

My reaction to Suckerpunch on the premiere day as the film proceeded.

    - Wow, cool visuals
    - This is unintentionally hilarious
    - My god I cannot stop laughing out loud
    - Amazing, this is actually very boring
    - I can't take it anymore..
    - Shoot me, shoot me now.
    - /facepalm x100

Emily Browning might be the hottest chick of all time in that movie, though.

Alas, that film was maybe the worst I've seen since The Happening. I'm usually good at scoping out movies, but I was way off about that one. Although the visuals were absolutely stunning, as was the soundtrack. Too bad. It was only a few topless scenes away from a 6/10.

The Man From Nowhere : 9/10

Amazing film. I haven't been this impressed since 'S.P.L (Killzone)' - which pales in comparison to this movie. If you liked Liam Neeson's 'Taken', then expect to be wow'd to an even greater degree. The Man From Nowhere is a film that treads familiar territory, but lead actor Won Bin's performance as well as the execution of the film as a whole is on another level. Definitely check it out.

Captain America: The First Avenger : 6/10

'Captain America: The First Avenger' is a solid film, yet it is an underwhelming one. Not to mention, Red Skull's appearance was god-awful, way too kid-friendly. The action is lackluster and messy. Everything feels simulate and at times the film veers towards a campiness. This atmosphere falls in line with how I felt about 'Thor' . Both films are blatant set-ups for the all-star vehicle; 'The Avengers'. Nevertheless, the first half of the film was charming and kept me invested.
