 It doesn't take away from the story, though, trust me. It's just odd.

Eagle Eye - 8/10. Good thriller, and a nice commentary on our increased reliance of technology.

Marley and Me - 6.5/10. Better than I thought it'd be. Quite touching in places.

    Tropic Thunder 6/10
I've never been a fan of Ben Stiller but the overral plot was funny. Tom Cruise stole the limelight for me in this movie. His character; a fat, bald producer of the movie that loves saying "fuck" and "shit" ten times in the same sentence. It's always the movies I don't recognise him at first glance I seem to like (the other movie that I also like with Tom Cruise as a lead character was Interview With The Vampire). I loved the ending, where he was dancing around on the dancefloor.

    Valkyrie 8/10
I actually enjoyed this movie, as I've always been a fan of war movies, especially those that take place on the enemy homefront, in this case, 1942 Germany. This movie is based on the real life events of the last assassination plot devised by one of Hitler's closest men to kill the Nazi leader himself. The thing I like about this movie so much is that it makes something so complex and confusing, so easy to understand. I didn't like Tom Cruise's character so much but I did enjoy the history behind his character. Now this film was banned in Germany. I did recognise some other historical names like Himmler etc.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Amazing film. Normally this ought to be good enough to win at least two or three Oscars.

    Beast Stalkers (2008)

    8/10

A non-pretentious HK flick. Exactly what the film industry there needed. Solid cop-thriller.

Yes Man - Jim Carey wasn't too bad. It was like Liar Liar. Zooey Deschanel was a cutie in that film. Much better than the last film (Happening - that piece of crap movie) I saw her in.

    3/5

Defiance - Looks better than it is. As the saying goes, quality over quantity. This film seemed like they put too much into quantity that the quality dropped off. It had parts here and there, but did not put it all together.

    3/5

Tropic Thunder. It was so not funny that I had to stop watching it halfway through. I really had high hopes on this one. Oh well.
