What movies did you recently watch?

I Am Legend 7/10

Will Smiths Acting was GREAT, Didnt like the ending, but it was okay. Good Storyline.

 

Blade 2 8/10

My god, I am so glad that I didn't watch this film before Blade Trinity, or else I would've been puking at the nonsense on screen when the third film was on theaters. Poor Snowman. Died way too easily, and he was the damn choreographer for some of the action scenes for pete's sake, give the guy more screentime!


Alvin and The Chipmunks 6/10

Cute, adorable talking chipmunks only do so much to amuse me. The film got bland a little before the halfway point of the movie.

TMNT 8.5/10

Just awesome, the film made me realize how much I've missed the turtles =D. Can't wait for a sequel.

 

A Walk to Remember (7/10)

 

Alpha Dog - 8.5/10

I was pleasantly surprised, it was a damn good movie. Plus it was entertaining to see JT say the word "fuck" every half a second,

 

Elizabethtown (6.5/10)

Oh Orlando Bloom, you are just a pretty face, lol. He just doesn't do it for me as an actor. Anyway, the "suicide bike" part made me laugh a bit. Very clever. The movie was decent but nothing really that special. I really loved the last 25 minutes of the movie where he takes the road trip. Of course it led him to "her". Very predictable but cute at the same time.

 

Saw 3 - 8/10

Personally, I liked this a lot. Even though I spent a lot of the time hiding behind my hands and gasping in shock at the gore....which was awesome XD

It had a decent ish story line, and I liked the twist at the end

 

That's almost as awesome as hearing Ryan Seacrest say "fuck" in Knocked Up.

 

Best cameo evar.

 

The Prince Of Egypt - 10/10

Yeah, i'm a big kid, leave me alone. I love this film, always have done, and just got it on DVD today, after not being able to watch my VHS of it, because of a distinct lack of a video player.

 

Mists of Avalon 8/10

Could have had some slightly better choice of actors, especially for Gwenwyfar (Guenivere) and Arthur Pendragon, and they should have elaborated more on the love Morgaine (Morgana) had for Lancelot, but otherwise, its an amazing film. Not only shows a probably more historically accurate version of Camelot (despite the hidden realm of Avalo), it shows the ever present debate at that time of the Old Pagan religion versus the blossoming Christianity boom that was sweeping Europe.

Great film.

 

I just youtubed that and that was just amazing, lol.

Okay, so it was pretty much just an American 28 Days Later, but I liked it. It was pretty damn good, and jumpy, and had some rather nice explosions and general destruction to keep me happy

Considering the book was actually written BEFORE 28 Days Later, I didn't make comparisons. Which made it better. Great movie.

I loved this movie, well acted, awesome soundtrack, and the premise is just plain intriguing.
