Currently I'm on a mass frenzy of covering Linkin Park songs, completely instrumentally. I say completely because I'm a perfectionist and refuse to leave out a single part of each song (which at one point called for a repost of one of my works because I heard another synth line). I've removed my first three embarrassing covers because they're awful.
Bump. This took two weeks. As far as I can see, it's one of the only (if not the only) full cover of WTCFM out there. Il est très belle.
So I realized everything I've done except WTCFM has really sucked balls. So I did this:
Reviving this ancient thread. I stopped doing these things because I realized not many people really care about instrumental covers where you can't see the person playing and I got bored of doing it. Lost most of the motivation to do it because I didn't find it interesting anymore. But with recent events I found myself rediscovering some of my old unfinished projects, including a fully finished recreation of the drums for Breaking the Habit. So I decided to just go for it and finish it. I like to think of it as my own personal musical tribute to Chester. You can listen to it on YouTube here, along with seeing a really sloppy graphic I slapped together from a screencap of the music video.
This is awesome, needs more recognition. Even got the samples from the original song. Everything is accurate and on point to a T. SMH people sleeping on this one Anyway, good job Chris
