Linkin Park returns to Amsterdam! After their stop yesterday in Köln, the band now heads to Amsterdam for their first performance there since 2001! While the band hasn't performed in Amsterdam since 2001, they have played in Netherlands a few more times in between, in both 2007 and 2012 at the Pinkpop festival. Let's take a look at 2012 with a performance of In The End. You expected me post Bleed It Out again, didn't you? At the show yesterday in Köln, the band again performed set B (it's the one with With You, Somewhere I Belong and Lying From You). The band has been keeping these setlists mostly unchanged since the start of The Carnivores Tour and the only times they seem to switch it up is when they have to cut songs due to getting on stage late or some other turn of events happen in order to cut songs. I feel like a broken record repeating this every time, but the band has expressed interest in playing both Keys of the Kingdom and A Line In The Sand, and the fans would more than love it if they played both those songs. Speaking of new songs to be played from The Hunting Party, take a look at Rebellion from the show yesterday here below. At the show today in Amsterdam the band will again host another edition of the LPUnderground Summit, making it number three this year and number twelve in total. The last summit was held in The Woodlands, Texas. Prior LPU Summits have seen acoustic performances, sound checks, walks across the stage, as well as backstage and tour bus tours to name a few. At the last summit the band battled a PA system that didn't want to properly work and a loud restaurant in the other part of the room. Chester and Brad performed Final Masquerade and you can check it out below. Are you going to the show? Well... In an initiative to connect the fans of Linkin Park, we here on LPA made a meet up schedule, so if you want to meet some fellow LPA users before the show, the page for all the information and names of who are attending the show is right here. So make it known that you are attending the show, so you can meet some other awesome fans. Remember to tweet pictures to @LPAssociation if you meet some other members. After this, the bands heads back to Germany to play for the first time in Oberhausen on the 9th, and then Hamburg on the 10th. So what do you think? Will the band switch up the setlist? Will they play anything obscure at the summit? Are you going to the show? Come and discuss in our forums. I can't believe the summit is happening like an hour away from me and I´m not there Oh well, at least I'll see them in a few days..
I'll be finally seeing them, after 14 years being an fan. I'll be a little teenie going al crazy when they get on stage.
It was awesome! No special songs, but Mike rapped the first part of Reading My Eyes just before Bleed It Out started because it was the LPU Summit.
Great show! If anyone who attended and was waiting in line from early-on: I've uploaded a pic from the line (shot from above). Might be fun to have that in your collection...
