Gerard Way, the former lead singer of My Chemical Romance, is back with a solo album, Hesitant Alien, out September 19 under Warner Bros. The first single is "No Shows", with "Action Cat" released a few months ago. The album is still alt rock and pop punk, but it heavily incorporates Britpop and garage rock. The producer of the album is Doug McKean, who worked with Rob Cavallo, the producer of several releases of MCR. The album is more of a return to the desire he had in school.
Really looking forward to this. Love the two songs that are out and especially the britpop vibe I'm getting.
Really excited for this album. The two singles are great and his live set at Reading was pretty good.
I really like the two songs, preferably "No Shows". Can't wait for the new album! Always been a fan of Gerard and I'm still a fan of MCR, even though I got into them really late.

So the album leaked. I, for one, really like this cd. I need to listen to it a couple more times but I love the sound and as always, his voice is on point.
