After getting stagelight and the Linkin Park pack. I've been playing around making some projects. All instrumentals! But I want to put on some vocals on these things. 1: I don't have an external soundcard, guitarsounds are either recorded throu another mic, or Rocksmith cable connected to a pedal. 2: I'ts fun, and makes time pass. https://soundcloud.com/tonyboy_91 It's the soundcloud where everything goes to. The tracks i'm mostly satisfied with. A LPU instrumental-ish styled track A chill piano and delayed acoustic guitar track. No idea how to describe it, i'm just happy with it. An 8-bit ish adventure track. I haven't done this for too long. But I'm learning new things in stagelight all the time. Hope you guys like some of it atleast
I heard the first one from when you posted it in the shoutbox and thought it was really neat, but the third one is gold! This is way better than what people usually put out on their first time
Whoaw thanks guys Few drums and sounds in the tracks are taken from different loops which are included in the LP pack. I've been playing around stagelight for around 7 months, but i still feel like I'm in beginner state, since i haven't made much. Stagelight is really easy to use. I don't even know what all the knobs on my Oxygen25 midikeyboard does. There is like a pitch and modulation wheel, and a octave wheel.. The rest 10-15 knobs or whatever, i don't even know. They don't do anything. That's how much of a n00b I am in this. heh But thanks guys, that's super awesome to hear from you
I didn't spend enough time with StageLight to really learn how to do this in that particular program, but those knobs and/or sliders can be used to basically control a variety of parameters within the software via MIDI. They aren't doing anything right because you haven't assigned any parameters to them. The pitch + mod wheels are, by default, set to control the pitch and modulation for whatever instrument you're playing using the keyboard.
My newest work! I'm really proud of this one. I'll just use this thread to post all my works, instead of making multiple threads.
