Linkin Park band member Mike Shinoda will be a guest on KROQ's "Loveline" tomorrow evening. Shinoda will appear on the radio program with his wife, author Anna Shinoda, to discuss the latter's upcoming debut novel "Learning Not To Drown" and answer questions from callers.

Tune into "Loveline" on KROQ 106.7FM tomorrow, March 27, at 10PM PDT to listen in!

I'm willing to bet that Anna's novel be very, visceral. :kappa:

You can actually read the first six chapters here but I don't know how much of an indication they give

I bet $50 that a fan will ask about Mike's sex life.

Haha I read "Mike Shinoda appears..." and my first thought was if it was a Loveline appearance.
There should be a pre-album release bingo game.

    - Random hints in backgrounds of videos
    - Mike appears on Loveline
    - Inevitable overuse of buzzword: "Toolbox", "Visceral", "Roots"
    - Fans hear preview and claim triumphant return to "Old Linkin Park"
    - Linkin Park partners with <brand/company> to bring you content in a new way
    - Song will be used in <Transformers/other movie> soundtrack
    - Fans not happy about song/album names
    - "OMG! I'm so hyped after that interview. I wasn't hyped before the interview at all, but now I'm hyped. HYPED!"
    - :come2brazil:
    - Background music from an LPTV might be a new song, crazy investigative work ensues
    - :leak:
    - FREE SPACE
    - "Warner music is evil and thank god LP's contract with them is almost up" comments
    - Chester grossly exaggerates some aspect of the album
    - Rolling Stone article comes out that still describes Linkin Park as nu-metal
    - www.linkinpark.com randomly and mysteriously changes background (Fans start sifting through source code)
    - Comparisons to Hybrid Theory regardless of what the thread topic is
    - Music festival appearance announcement that most will decry as a shit lineup while wanting to attend at the same time
    - Listening party summary from random fan that is about as correct as a blind man describing a platypus to another blind man
    - Fan brings up thread from last year where he/she "totally called" some aspect of the album
    - Fan(s) are obsessed with how the album will chart/sell despite the fact that it doesn't affect their personal lives whatsoever
    - Shoutbox trolling quotes for days!
    - Fans trying to test their willpower by vowing not to listen to any leaks until the album releases
    - Fan gets banned for generally acting like an idiot on the threads
    - "If LP isn't nominated for <award>, it will be the greatest crime in the history of things that have happened"

I'd add more but I'm at Uni right now and I have work to do. I was gonna make a mockup bingo card with all these in the squares but I didn't have time. Feel free to add to the list :)

Hey, this doesn't take any effort for me at all! What would actually take immense willpower is actually double-clicking the MP3 that I have and listening to it right now

    Hahahaha awesome post Nish!!

And, out of respect to Anna, I hope that Mike appearance on Loveline stays on topic, it'd be rude if fans just start asking about the album when it's Anna's book the topic of discussion, especially after Mike's blog where he says he doesn't want people to relate Anna's work to Mike and therefore LP, and that we should look at the piece of work as it is.

The callers aren't really obligated to stay "on-topic" if they're calling in to ask the guest questions

I follow Anna Shinoda on Twitter; her followers are very respectful and seem to know not to bring up LP all the time, but the callers won't exclusively be those same people

^But it'll still be pretty rude considering the interview is for her book and not his album

They'll be on the show to promote the novel, yes, but there won't be restrictions about what gets discussed. If they care about avoiding calls asking about LP and their music, then, Shinoda wouldn't be joining his wife on the show.

"Loveline" isn't your typical radio interview.

Mike is always appearing on Loveline. At least once a year. It'd be bigger news if he weren't. xD.

C'mon mate, in my two years on this site there have been at least 5-6 Loveline posts.

Common sense is expecting a variety of questions for both Shinoda and his wife. They're clearly not just prepared for but also open to questions about Linkin Park along with questions about the novel. :)

Again, they'd be appearing on the show on separate dates if it was really that important that Linkin Park not be brought up.
