For those of you new to the game, the LPA Awards are a prestigious event held on these forums once every year and are a time when we as a community can look back on the past year and vote on what or who we think deserves to be forever engraved into LPA History. This year, I have taken it upon myself to host these LPA Awards (my first time doing so!), and as such I will be delivering the categories, collecting the votes, and subsequently delivering the results! Below you will see the Voting Rules, the Categories, and everything else you need to know about voting for the LPA Awards! This year's theme? We're Breaking Bad. Forgive the puns and sorry for the spoilers! Voting Rules - You need 50 posts to vote - You must vote in EVERY category - You cannot vote for yourself - Both "Most Attractive Male" and "Most Attractive Female" MUST be voted for. - "Best Newbie" MUST have joined in 2013 - Don't vote for banned members. - PM your votes to me (Louis) by February 6th, 2014 ------- The 2013 LPA Awards Category List Favorite Member He or she is the one who knocks. This LPA Staff Member must have stood out this year - they put the most into the website and community and is always there to help you out! Who was your favorite? Most Intelligent Member Just a little tweak of chemistry. It doesn't matter the topic - this member knows everything. They don't have to post a lot - they just have to post smart. Most Funniest Member "Oh hey, nerdiest old dude I know, you wanna come cook crystal?" This member always makes you giggle helplessly to yourself at your computer screen, whether it's in the shoutbox or on the forums! Most Random Member "I loved school when I was your age. Seesaws, story time, chasing girls with sticks." Never sure for what reason they say anything, this one enters, leaves their package and leaves while simultaneously bewildering just about everybody. Whatever random means to you, vote for that person here. Most Controversial Member Come at me! This member is the eternal Devil's advocate and is always on the debate floor, and you either love them or hate them. Whoever causes controversy, put that vote here. Most Missed Member Have you seen this LPA member? Who just doesn't come around anymore? Who do you miss? Most Attractive Male Member No need for words. You know what to do. Most attractive male, whether for their personality or for their looks! *Must be voted for at all times whether male or female Most Attractive Female Member Hot damn. Again, it could be looks and/or personality! Not really. As far as I can tell, there isn't any strict consensus on that. And I thought the "Most Funniest" thing was just a running gag?
