Linkin Park Underground have announced that they will be hosting official LPU Meetups with Hard Rock Cafe and members of the LPU Community. The LPU Meetups are a great way to get LPU members from all over the world to meet and hang out while the Hard Rock Cafe provides a space for this to happen. Some LPU Meetups are hosting Recharged listening parties, as well as sneek peeks to LPU XIII, however, activities at the LPU Meetups will vary. The LPU Meetups are available to current members of the Linkin Park Underground, as you need to RSVP in the event section of the LPU. There will be a small attendance fee, about $15, to participate, but that will also cover food and non-alcoholic drinks at the event.

The Linkin Park Signature Series 31 T-shirt will also be available to purchase at the LPU Meetups where 15% of all proceeds of it will benefit Music For Relief and its Power The World initiative.

Linkin Park Meet & Greets will not be held at the LPU Meetups.

If you are not a member of the Linkin Park Underground and want to join the LPU, visit Linkin Park Underground to join today!

Are you planning on attending one of the LPU Meetups? Head over to our forums and talk about it!

With the Philly meetup so close to Christmas, I'm not sure I'll be able to attend. Just being in that Hard Rock Cafe is going to bring back so many memories from the summit.

Wish we were told about this a few weeks ago instead of just a couple of days before the event. Oh well, hopefully they'll organise more things like this in the future.

I'm not a LPU member this year, but I'm definitely considering signing up to go to the Chicago meetup.

LPU albums need to stop having a midlife crisis and stick to numbers or numerals.

So I had a conversation with Adam on the first day of the Chicago LPU Summit. According to Adam, Mike said that he wants the LPU to be a circle of friends. Although the Summits are full of awesome experiences, one of the best parts about them was talking to and interacting with people who share a similar passion of the band. I fully believe that these Meetups are an extension of Mike's vision of the LPU becoming friends, not only on a website, but in real life. I've met some really awesome people through the LPU, many of whom I still talk to today. It absolutely blew me away how many people I knew at the last Linkin Park show I went to, just from going to the Summit and being more involved with people online, especially here om the LPA. Because of this, I think it is a great idea for people to make friends with one another.
