Sorry folks, the trailer got pulled. I'd post a DL link but that might be against the rules of the boards. I'll post a link up when its available. EDIT: WATCH BEFORE THEY TAKE IT DOWN
lol I was like "It looks like an exact remake of the Matthew Broderick version!" Than it was the Broderick version.
Sorry but WB is taking down the trailer from YouTube left right and center! It was a leaked one apparently. I got to watch it and it looks pretty damn awesome! - Link added!
Dat intro! Lol I hope they do it right this time. Godzilla (1998) wasn't all that bad IMO, but there was some other one I saw at one point (Godzilla 2000?) that was just dreadful.
I was 9 when Godzilla (1998) came out, so it was only the greatest thing ever that wasn't Star Wars, Batman, or Jurassic Park.

The cinematography looks so great. Reminds me of Inception actually. I love the doom-like direction they are taking it in.
I've heard reports that Guillermo Del Toro is interested in doing a crossover with this and Pacific Rim. I don't know how that's gonna work out, though.
Well ... looking at the trailer it doesn't like like Godzilla wants to place nice with humanity. In the realm of Pacific Rim, what happened when the Kaiju didn't want to place nice? Giant. Fucking. Robots. I don't know about you, but if the premise is done correctly, I could easily see a Pacific Rim Jaeger versus Godzilla film working out.
^ Cheesy and cliche perfectly describe Pacific Rim... also weak character development and bad acting (I'm looking at you Charlie Hunnam) Based on Godzilla's director's previous movie (Monsters), I think that we have nothing to worry about...
