I figured we should have a thread to post fascinating things we stumble upon while surfing the web. It could be anything... as long as it's interesting you can post it here I'll start... “You look just like your dad!” “Oh, you have your mom’s eyes!” People love discussing genetics (whether they know it or not) so photographer Ulric Collette has taken pictures of two relatives and spliced them together to more easily compare facial features. Some of you must have seen this on Reddit already, but I find this pretty interesting. If you look at the squares that letters "A" and "B" lie on, you won't notice that they're the same color. You can double check that if you crop the squares out separate and put them side by side. Really good idea though, I can see myself checking back a lot here.
I saw that on Wikipedia, it's awesome. Another way to check it is to use the Color Picker and draw a line between the squares.

Vsauce posts some pretty crazy stuff on Youtube. He analyzes human behavior and makes sense of it; asking questions you wouldn't ask otherwise because it's in our normal behavior. Some of my favorite videos of his: "Why Do We Play Games?" "Why Do We Kiss?" "Why Are Things Cute?" "Why Don't Any Animals Have Wheels?"
^Awesome stuff! You also may like Dean Leysen, he deals with many topics regarding science and society in a fun, interesting way, similar to Vsauce.
