This track should take it in my book. Such a dark, more haunting version than the original (Lost In The Echo). I felt like I was getting pushed back and forth from 2002 and 2012 Linkin Park. Beautiful and dissonant. This is my favorite LPA MMU remix so far (yes, all the months). Oh and I forgot to mention; the lyrics went together pretty well. Most mash-ups don't really achieve that, it's more of a sonic type of thing. Just adds to the brilliance of your remix. /////////// And tomorrow:

Wow! That is a huge statement and I am humbly greatful for your kind words. The mash-up went through many iterations and edits, especially with the surfacing of the LOST IN THE ECHO stems from the Indaba contest. The stems helped me take the exact sound that I wanted from LITE and add it into the mash-up without having all of the extra instruments there in the chorus. In the demo version, which is still available on my soundcloud, the intro had this stark change that just about slapped you in the face and by the time you got to the chorus, I just about brick-walled the tracks because of how full everything was. Needless to say, I feel like the work I've done on it cleaned up the mess and the things that made you turn your head like a pug being offered a cookie were no longer there. The lyrics also make more sense with the way I replaced the bridge lyrics with the last verse of LOST. I made this mash-up and kept working at it after the LITE themed MMU because it was something that I wanted to hear. After the LITE MMU, I took a hard look at it and felt like I could make some changes to better the outcome. I'm happy with what transgressed and I'm glad I am able to submit the final version as an entry for this month's MMU. I really liked how your mix sounds almost robotic. It feels like a '90's throwback with a futuristic twist.

Can't believe it's been almost a year since my last MMU entry. Time to do something about it! It's actually a remix of a remix of a remix mixed with a remix of a remix Some of you might have been already familiar with this mix although that's not exactly the version you've heard in the past. Since I didn't want to submit an old song, I opened my project file, mixed the track again and made some iprovements here and there. Hope you'll enjoy it! Also, Bane - I love what you did with the chorus in your track. Pretty impressive work for a first remix, dude!
