The official Australian Linkin Park Facebook page has announced that a 2 CD Tour Edition of the band's most recent album, LIVING THINGS, will be released February 8th, coinciding with Linkin Park's headlining act at Soundwave 2013 and its two sideshows with Stone Sour. The edition will feature five live tracks from various 2011-2012 performances and the Killsonik Remix of LOST IN THE ECHO. Hey, um, LP, how about, including, live performances of tracks from the album? Is it just me or does the tracklisting make no sense?
It is an odd tracklist. Had to get it out for the tour to capitalize on the tour. I'm sure the Band aren't overly thrilled about it. I'll still buy it though.
Yeah, but those are only two songs out of a variety of the ones they HAVE preformed live. They could have at least included Victimized/QWERTY and In My Remains, making it 8 tracks instead of 6.
Doubtful because it is a re-release of an existing album. It's just like how ATS+ and the Tour Edition of Minutes to Midnight don't count.
One "Living Things" B-side would've really improved that tracklist, if not live recordings of "In My Remains" and "Castle Of Glass" ... but, whatever. I've always been a fan of that cover art.
Hopefully they aren't the same quality as a DSP. I'd rather have live studio quality audio like live in texas.
Yeah ... I'm no expert but I recall "A Thousand Suns+" not being too bad in that respect, so stay optimistic.
Pointless. Also that CD bundle that would have extra tracks, does NOT have extra tracks. Not that I would buy a bundle anyway. Does anyone else think the bundle was a stupid move? I mean, if you don't know you like a band why would you buy every album they have ever done? :S
Off-topic, but: "Studio Collection", the digital bundle, won't have have bonus tracks and no-one ever said otherwise. the iTunes re-remasters of the albums - a series of Linkin Park album re-releases separate from the bundle - will include bonus tracks. Anyway, here is the relevant news thread.
