Hey, just curious: Any DoD fans out there? This is basially a multi-player modification of the popular game Half-Life; other modifications of Half-Life include Counter-Strike, Team Fortress Classic, etc. DoD takes place during WWII and has recently been released for retail, meaning you can buy the game in stores (but why bother when you can download it?). You're either the Axis (Germans) or Allies (Americans & British). It's loads of fun...my favorite multi-player game for sure!
I've never played Day of Defeat, but I play Counter-Strike sometimes, and that's really good. So Day of Defeat can't be that bad. I'll have to check it out sometime.
I might also add, in my opinion, DoD is much easier than CS. The official website actually has it up for download...kinda weird, but yeah. You can guess the official site: it's common sense.
I'd get it, but I don't own Half-Life to use it. My friend does. I'll probably get Half-Life 2 when it comes out. The mods are going to rock like hell for that.
ya man half-life 2 is going to be awesum. lmao, i stopped playing the first one when i got stuck at sum 3 headed dragon.
What about TFC? TFC is awesome too. Don't leave it out - and if you haven't played it, it comes w/Half-Life so update HL and go play it.
