Completely disagree. LITE is epic live. Sure, Chester hasn't been 100% in some concerts in the live shows, but you're forgetting those are shows where he screams and sings almost 13-15 songs before LITE is played. This show will have just one performance and that would have been LITE if they planned to play that. If it comes down to singing just a handful number of songs live at a stretch, no one can top Chester in vocal quality and energy. BID is old and shouldn't be played. They have singles out that can be and NEED to be played. I hope they play LITE as a surprise.
What about the LITE debut at Sirus XM? Chester sang just about every track superbly, even BID sounds just like the studio version and he had an amazing performance of Crawling and In The End with the Bridge, but LITE was the only track that his vocals sounded weak. Screaming isn't something hard to do as well so its a given that he would do that part just fine, but the vocal harmonies were just not strong enough and that was Chester on his good day. I love Chester and don't mean any insults towards him, but I am 100% sure that he will never have a performance that sounds as powerful as the studio version.
That was his first time performing LOST IN THE ECHO. Chester always requires practice to sing new songs live. Just look at how much he has improved on singing songs like The Catalyst, New Divide, and Shadow of the Day. And where have you heard the Sirius XM performance of LITE?
Chester hasn't greatly improved on those songs, he did great on them from the beginning, LITE is just not one of those he can improve. The whole sirus xm performance was on their radio station. You can look for it on youtube as well.
Sorry, but from my perspective Chester was spot on during his performance. And I mean spot on. If you've ever heard the a cappella of this song then you would know that Chester's voice on this song was raw even on the studio version
I bought LIVING THINGS instrumentals and Acapellas so yes I have heard the performance and I still don't think its anywhere near as weak as his live performances, his voice sounds like its getting squeaker the more he sings into the chorus.
Unless this ACTUALLY changes... AMA SETLIST: BURN IT DOWN Show Notes: Other Notes: - Mike joked around on Twitter that they would either play BURN IT DOWN or QWERTY. - The band won an award for "Favorite Alternative Rock Artist".
Congratulations, Linkin Park! I thought Joe wasn't there for a second when I didn't see him in the shot.
Couldn't hear because my fucking parents were arguing about some shit on Facebook -.- Congrats LP anyway!
At first when Mike said The LPUnderground it sounded like he was going to say The LPA. I almost fell out of my chair .
I'm not sure why they insist on playing a song that is difficult for Chester to sing on a live television show. It was a decent performance however, given that fact. The mixing sounded way too heavy though.
