Congrats to Linkin Park who won Best Rock at last night's MTV Europe Music Awards! By Wikipedia's count, this makes 8 EMA wins in 17 nominations for the band. LP beat out the likes of Coldplay, Green Day, Muse and The Killers for the award.

The band were also nominated for best North American Act but lost to Rihanna.

Incredibly boring show. That was the last award given, I watched that crap for 3 hours just to see that...
Still glad they won. I loved it when Brad fixed Chester's cap (hat, whatever...) Laughed so hard!
Best rock? More like best electronic/folk/rock
Congratulations LP well deserved. They are the best rock band ATM.
It's nice to see that between all the awards gone to "kids"(musically) like Swift and Bieber, LP got their own. And it's very well deserved. Even though MTV is a (bad) joke

I'm fine that they won one award and lost the other, I'm a Rihanna fan as well. Both of them got what they deserved

With that band being as humble as they are, these awards and nominations must mean very little to them. However, I'm sure it's still appreciated to win. Congratulations to the band!
