Bass is prominent in this remix so unless you have a good set of speakers/headphones, you'll be missing out.

    @Lizzi
your mashup is great :D and like michael said in the soundcloud comments the pitch changes on the vocals make it fit into Lockjaw even more...

@Puresque I love your acoustic covers in the free for all months... like others do with a remix you take the song in a different direction but in a much more natural way because its only your voice and the guitar :)

@David the fusion of the electronic elements with the - to my ears - naturally sounding drums is what I like about your remix

in the last couple of days I changed my first demo alot...

    so what do you think?

I like this Lizzi. The only thing that bugged me is that I felt like the timing for the first verse was off.
The acapella seemed to move slightly faster than the instrumental. Other than that, it's really good.
I love the pitch augmentation you did. Sounds good.

My apologies everyone for the slightly late submission, unfortunately I've been having some arguments with my internet connection that have raged on well into the night (it's almost 5am here, and I work at 7...). Seemed a bit depressing to come this far and give up though, so here is my entry:

This month I decided to do something completely different for my entry and, as such, it’s a bit of an experiment, at times cool, at times quite funny (one section in particular springs to mind here...). Some people might like it, others perhaps less so. Just a bit of fun.

Inspiration for this remix came from the Celtic and folk music of Scotland, Ireland and North America, mixed in with a touch of electro (as you do... xD ). Features a mixture of live instrumentation (violins/fiddles, guitars, percussion) and programmed material (drums, keys, synths, basses).

Those dedicated enough to listen all the way through my 6 minute indulgence will be rewarded with a short fiddle solo...

Have a listen and see what you think!

    Thanks guys ;)

I don't know how you managed to make my favorite Linkin Park song of the last few years better, but you just did.

Incredible work Mac. I can't even fathom how incredible your entry is. My mind is still processing it. Linkin Park would be proud.

Wow man! Thanks for the kind words, that means a lot.

Thanks so much man, really glad you like it. It was touch and go whether I was even going to get my entry submitted tonight, so I'm glad it was worth staying up for :p Thanks!

Puresque - go and make some more beautiful renditions of LP songs please, they are all incredible.

I'm glad you did, it sounds like you really put a lot of effort into it and you should definitely be recognized for it. As always, thanks for sharing! :chuck:

On a related note, there are days where I can't get the "chorus" of your Victimized remix out of my head. It's infectious. :alf:
