This is sorta random, but the thought came into my head when the radio just played "What I Got" by Sublime. Do you think bands such as Nirvana, Sublime and other bands where the lead singer died would still be around today if they were alive?

I think Nirvana would be, as long as their music didn't change too much. They still have a very strong following, so I think they would still be around.

    Not to sure about Sublime.

Oh man, if 2pac/Biggie were around, I wonder if I ever would have grown out of that rap stage.

Nirvana got me into rock, by the way. I owe it all to them and so I wish they were still around because I know for sure they'd still be kicking major ass. Sublime would definitely still be around and doing just as good.

Nirvana still does have a very strong following and would more than likely still be one of the best rock groups out there but, I wonder if maybe after year and year they would run out of options and maybe become sellouts, kind of like what Metallica is doing now.

    I don't know about Sublime.

I don't think Sublime would be around today but definitely Nirvana would be.

Yeah, I definitely think so. Bands like Nirvana, Sublime, and Alice In Chains all have big fan bases. :)
