In just under 24 hours Linkin Park will play the second of four shows taking place in Brazil as part of the LIVING THINGS World Tour. They will be performing at the Citibank Hall in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the first time ever. It will be the fourth show the band have ever played in Brazil with previous performances on September 11, 2004 at the 2004 Chimera Music Festival, October 11th, 2010 at the 2010 SWU Festival and last night's show at Parque Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil.
The band had a strong crowd at last night's show in São Paulo, but we didn't expect anything less from the Brazilian fans after a two year absence. Linkin Park played Set A, which begins with TINFOIL, Faint and has an encore of BURN IT DOWN, In the End and Bleed It Out (View full set here). The fans were very loud and were really energetic for the whole show. The performance was also broadcast live on Brazilian TV network Multishow, as well as the internet, so expect a HD rip of that surfacing in the next 24 hours.
Rio de Jeneiro will be the host of two shows this touring cycle, with the second night occurring on October 10th at the same venue. Linkin Park will then play one more show in Brazil on October 12th in Porto Alegre, Brazil at the Gigantinho Stadium. For a full list of past and upcoming tour dates visit the LPA Tour Map.
How many of our Brazilian members are heading to Rio de Janeiro for the first of two shows? Discuss the show on our LPA Forums or contact us on Twitter at @LPAsociation, we'd love to see your images, show updates and setlist details.
