On Saturday, September 22nd Linkin Park will be performing as part of the iHeartRadio Music Festival taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. This will be the first time the band have ever played the iHeartRadio Music Festival, however it's the third time the band have performed at the MGM Grand Garden Arena following performances on February 19th, 2011 as part of the A Thousand Suns World Tour and most recently on May 20th, 2012 where they played BURN IT DOWN at the Billboard Music Awards. The iHeartRadio Music Festival boasts an eclectic mix of artists performing on the same stage as each other. Linkin Park will join bands such as Pink, Aerosmith, Green Day, Bon Jovi, Enrique Iglesias, No Doubt, Usher and many others over the two day event. Linkin Park will perform on the second night of the festival in a 30 minute set between Taylor Swift and Deadmau5 at 10:25pm PT / 1:25am ET. With the set being only 30 minutes in length you can expect a high energy performance packed with some of Linkin Park's biggest hits. Mike Shinoda himself stated via Twitter that the band are planning a "one-of-a-kind" set for the show, so maybe we can expect a couple surprises that maybe we didn't see on the recent Honda Civic Tour. What do you think? The good news about the show is that it is available to stream online, live and in full. There are a couple of ways to view the stream so make sure you check the iHeartRadio website for information. Both Yahoo! Music and Xbox Live will be streaming the festival live and uncensored. For a list of capable devices and streaming details check the iHeartRadio Music Festival FAQ. The official live stream is only available to US residents unfortunately. Just a quick note for US viewers. The performance is being live streamed on mainstream top 40 radio stations that support iheartradio. Everything appears to be live mixed.
I think they're going to be doing a lot of the speed run/mash-up type stuff they'd been throwing into the mix during the HCT.
It sucks that it's only being "officially" streamed in the US. Does anyone know how people living outside the US can also view a live stream?
Wrong! There is a simple mistake in this news! 10:25 / 1:25 10:35 / 1:35 - so, 10:35 PT or 10:25??!??! Correct is: 10:25! not 35
LoL. Yeah, I think that can happen. But you could just write: "It's 10:25, not 10:35.", too. If I can help someone with time zones, here are a few websites. :X TimeZoneConverter.com TimeAndDate.com WorldTimeZone.com EveryTimeZone.com WorldTimeSever.com ZeitZonen.de [German]
For "something special" they're gonna play what's known as the Bleed It Out Extravaganza!! Bleed It Out (RME verse 1/BITS chorus/NRL verse+chorus/APFMH verse 1+bridge/Pictureboard/15 MINUTES OF STAND-UP COMEDY/Sabotage/Faint bridge+chorus/OSC bridge+chorus/Papercut outro/Extended Outro) You heard it here first ladies and gentlemen!!
