Tonight Linkin Park will play the last of two shows taking place in Mexico at the Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico. This will be the first time Linkin Park have played in Mexico City in over a decade with their last show being on March 2nd, 2002 at the Foro Sol. This will be the band's third time ever performing in Mexico.
Linkin Park are coming off the MTV World Stage performance that took place in Monterrey, Mexico on September 12th. The band played the set which begins with A Place For My Head in their first official LIVING THINGS World Tour date and you can expect another set from the Honda Civic Tour repertoire being played tonight. With the Honda Civic Tour officially over and the first dates of the LIVING THINGS World Tour underway it'll be interesting to see when the band choose to change-up the already continually altered setlists we've been seeing this cycle. With LIVING THINGS tracks I'LL BE GONE, CASTLE OF GLASS, SKIN TO BONE, ROADS UNTRAVELED, POWERLESS and UNTIL IT BREAKS left to perform in full, it could be a case of waiting until next year's shows in Australia before we see any being implemented, however we might not even have to wait that long with Linkin Park playing shows in Argentina, Brazil and South Africa in October and November of this year.
Once tonight's show is over Linkin Park will have a well deserved week or so to rest with their next show being in Las Vegas, NV, USA at the MGM Grand for the iHeart Radio Music Festival on September 22nd. Once that is done with the band can rest for a while longer before continuing the LIVING THINGS World Tour at the aforementioned date in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 5th.
