It's more of a confidence issue, I'd imagine.

What's the point of releasing songs if you aren't going to play it live? Are you kidding? To release music. You don't write music JUST to perform it in a live setting, you know. If we go by YOUR logic, then the following Beatles albums shouldn't have been released because they stopped touring BEFORE they were released:

    Revolver
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
    The White Album
    Yellow Submarine
    Abbey Road
    Let It Be

I'd agree to that. These two songs deserved to get played

Eh, Powerless would've definitely fit into that setlist (maybe replacing Numb?), but I'm not sure about COG, given all the energy that night. Oh and I forgot to mention some people around me sat through the entire fucking show!

Powerless would of fit in the set nicely. I was more surprised Lies Greed Misery wasn't played.

That's not entirely what I meant - after someone said that the reason they weren't being played is because Mike can't sing live, I was just questioning the authenticity of the tracks themselves if they can't even be sung...sorry for the confusion.

Singing in a studio setting =/= singing live. Especially when there's the added confusion that LP has these days. That confusion being, "Okay guys, how the fuck are we going to play this live? Who is playing what? How are we going to get this good enough for live?"

Yeah I get what you're saying, and in hindsight I probably shouldn't have worded my original post the way that I did. It's just disappointing that some of the best LT tracks aren't being played live due to those kinds of factors.
