According to the twitter account @mikeshinodaclan, Mike said the intro is a recording of a random guy selling bootlegs.
I also tweeted that question to MSC and to @cindychipz (the girl who asked the band) so I'm glad someone asked the band! --- Imagine this guy is now selling bootleg LIVING THINGS CDs and he's oblivious to the fact his voice is on there.
We can now conclude that that every line of VICTIMIZED is directed towards the pirates! "No more hiding in shadow."
For an LP song you think it would like an inspirational quote about hate in another language. NO IT'S A FUCKING BOOTLEG SELLER. WTF Mike. Seriously
They had enough inspirational speeches on A Thousand Suns. They wanted to go outside the box this time.
"*Random gibberish* Linkin Park here, format here. *gibberish*sellin' ya all Linkin Park format here."
you guys are hearing "Linkin Park" because you want to. It's just distorted and accented enough that it probably isn't what you think it is.
This interpretation is actually becoming more plausible the more I think about it "'Cause I won't wait for the debt to be repaid - time has come for you."
Mark from LP Live actually told me yesterday in Camden that Mike said the speech comes from a crazy guy outside of the venue in Indonesia last year selling unofficial LP tour shirts. That's fucking insane. It's awesome!!!! I love that guy!!!
That guy definitely is saying Linkin Park, especially if it was a man outside the venue selling unofficial tour shirts.
