    I hope this album is as good as A Beautiful Lie. and sounds somewhat likes it.

    This is War was good (at least the first 8 songs) but average compared to A Beautiful Lie

    The last album was borderline pretentious and definitely overproduced. Really felt like they were trying too hard to be epic.

    Really hoping they dial things back and get back to their self-titled/ABL days. ABL is one of my all-time favourite rock records.

    Too bad Leto is a lazy cockhead live who doesn't bother singing his songs. Most disappointing band I've ever seen because of him.

    When I saw them live Leto sang, and went of of his way to do an acoustic section off the main stage closer to people near the back, where the focus was almost all on him. I never would have thought he phoned it in or the like.

    I think TIW is probably their best album and think it would be cool to see more in the vein of Night of the Hunter and Hurricane.

    I saw them in concert before their self-titled album came out, and Jared's vocals were pretty rough, if only because it was their first tour and I'm sure he wasn't used to singing every single night like that. But I saw them about a year after their self-titled came out, and they were fucking amazing. Jared's vocals were soaring. That's the concert where he let me sing "Buddha for Mary" in the mic with him. So sick.

    Sadly I haven't seen them since. That makes... Jeez. 9 years.

    Looking forward to the new album.

    It's a shame Leto doesn't sing more, because he can deliver the vocals quite well, although then again he is trying to get the crowd into it.
