Leto says 30STM's next album will be "dramatic departure from the past" but, then, he says that it will be "very orchestral, narrative, interactive and even more electronic" and that doesn't really sound like a dramatic departure to me. :"
Also, that logo's not entirely new ;P

So, it's not true, after all, that they will take a 5 year break! They were so spent after touring that they considered that... this is amazing, Placebo will probably release a new album this year, join Living Things and the new 30stm album to that... so much new music!
And yeah, the Triad logo was introduced with This is War, I think.

As long as it's better than This Is War, then I will be pleased.

Despite the fact that it'll likely be super overproduced like their last record, I'm still cautiously excited for this record.
If you check on their FB page, and look back a little bit, it showed that logo and said MARS IS COMINGFUCK YEAH

You might think it was awesome, but honestly, I didn't really like it all that much. The huge amount of group vocals in the album on almost every song really killed it for me.

Can't WAIT! This is War is awesome, it holds my favourite song of all time! Leto can't disappoint me!
I liked that. Those vocals represent Echelon, and it's great to actually put fans into the record.
I'm pretty excited. I'm really hoping something pretty gandiosa.
We're all a little weird and life is a little weird, and when we find someone who's weirdness is compatible with ours we fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.
I do like them and I was talking about it yesterday. I wanna this album!

It was a nice gesture ... but, straight up, from what I heard of the album, there's too much crowd vocal. Eventually, it just sounds really forced when you hear it in basically every song. :"
In case you haven't heard said album, he's not kidding. They're in every fucking song. It makes me want to collectively punch the Echelon in the face. Either that or get them addicted to heroine, thus causing a downward spiral wherein their arm gets amputated, their best friends get sent to prison, and their girlfriends (if applicable) are coerced into performing sex shows for drug money.
IT'S A JARED LETO JOKE PEOPLE, GET OVER IT.
