Boring? The song has a lot of emotional depth and substance to it, bounds more than any other song on the album. To each their own I suppose, but even I have a hard time tying down BTH to the same quality as the rest of that album.
If there was hypothetically a track named Breaking The Habit, I'm sure an instrumental version without whiny lyrics and some glitch influence would be far superior.
Understandable. Drawing is a fine instrumental, I wouldn't discredit that.

I find the instrumental piece of the very exciting and better than the actual instrumental (excluding the cheap keyboard orchestral of course). I don't mind the lyrics on the actual.
I wonder what kind of lyrics would be on such a track, if it existed? I'd imagine they'd suck.

I can only think of QWERTY, the live version they played to me is better than the original. QWERTY didn't make it to an album anyway but still.

Why not? It's definitely an earlier version of the song and at some point there must've been a recording for them to work on and get the final product. Just because it's not studio doesn't mean it can't be a demo
