    Debris:

Listen, my blood feels like it’s sitting still in my veins
My motivation is gone before you even came
And no matter how I try I just can’t change
Give me one reason I should go outside
Everything will be the same no matter how hard I try
Some people will live, some people will die
Some people will build their whole life on a lie
I used to blame you for the things that I thought you would say
So now I can’t blame you for going away
Cause these memories of the blood beating under my skins
Repeating the same thoughts again and again

    Again and again
Said we couldn’t last long enough or be strong enough
    Again and again
Said our voices weren’t loud enough and we’ve had enough because

    We want our future back
    We want our own mistakes
    To take a long path
We want to do it again

    Again and again
Said we couldn’t last long enough or be strong enough
    Again and again
Said our voices weren’t loud enough and we’ve had enough because

    We want our future back
    We want our own mistakes
    To take a long path
We want to do it again

    Again and again
Said we couldn’t last long enough or be strong enough
    Again and again
Said our voices weren’t loud enough and we’ve had enough because

    We want our future back
    We want our own mistakes
    To take a long path
We want to do it again

Homecoming is an awesome demo! Its such a chill rock track. It seems like a more upbeat version of What I've Done :)

So Far Away has the samples and structure of Soundtrack, not Coal.

Homecoming and Clarity are nothing special.

    ASBESTOS IS AMAZING!!!!

Bunker, So Far Away, and Pepper are great.

Debris is great as well. Not sure if it should have been on MTM though like people are saying.

Ominous has it's ups and downs.

    Best Songs:
    1. Asbestos
    2. So Far Away
    3, Debris
    4. Bunker

Asbestos sounds very similar to given up, but rapping in the verse, would be perfect if it was finished

So Far Away is the first track I have ever liked with Mark's vocals. I still don't like him all that much, but the song is so sick! Surprises me that Chester's vocals are on it. Would have been way better if he was the lead vocalist for this track :)

Can't wait to hear this stuff! LPU CD's are always a joy to listen to. This being my 7th one. Another great time to be an LP fan :leak:

It doesn't have Mark vocals. It's Chester, he used to do that kind of harmonies in the early days.

    Asbestos:

Don’t start with the ugly part
Don’t end with the things that will make them want to walk away
Two in at the den again (?), another (?) seem cheap but somebody’s gonna have to pay
Oh yes, you can only guess, what it is, what it was
Or remember what I had in mind
Shotgunning on a joy ride, coming down the block, half-cocked (???) all the time

Give it back, give it back, give it back, sing it

One times for the words divine and
two times for the things that you hope you never have to say
    three (??) in a dead man’s dream
and the girls tell the boys that they better fucking run away
Leave it up, (??) give it up, turn it up, put it out, let it ride with the other lie
Shotgunning on a joy ride, coming down the block, half-cocked (???) all the time

Give it back, give it back, give it back, sing it

The Jeff goes into Beast mode!!!

I could see why Debris got cut but it had potential ! The riffs and synths in Ominous is perfect.
