    Linkin Park Releases Further Exclusives and Details with Dell & Open Labs

    Following the previous announcement of the exclusive software and hardware partnership with Dell Computers and Open Labs, Mike Shinoda has now released additional exclusives including the new limited edition Linkin Park Edition PC. The Special Edition Linkin Park PC will feature the Open Labs Music OS software inclusive with the myriad of custom Linkin Park loops, kits, and sounds. The PCs include the "high performance Dell XPS 17 laptops and 2320 All in One device" which feature touchscreen capabilities that function along with the Music OS.

    LPU members who purchase the Linkin Park Edition PC will receive additional sounds through a July 2012 OS software update, and Open Labs will provide members with an exclusive web chat tutorial. Watch the video below:



    UPDATE:

    Mike has updated his blog post to include a personal experience with the product HERE
    - Mike discusses how the software includes actual stems from Linkin Park songs
    - There are only a few hundred PCs available and no more will be produced

    It looks awesome but the price tag doesn't. For the average user, I don't think they'll use Music OS at all. The only people who will buy this are musicians and die-hard fans with a handful of cash waiting to be spent.

    I'd love to have that. I really need a stronger laptop, but I doubt I'll ever use the Music OS. Not too hot on the price either.

    I really hope there will be a way to get the sounds... of course Bruiser is interesting but those linkin park sounds would be very unseful for the LPA Monthly Mix-Ups^^
