I feel like we start getting into a really dangerous territory when we start trying to write around the idea of what some third-party thought of what our music should be when they can't even comprehend on how to tell us what that thing is, or guide us in a direction that can get us there musically or creatively, or anything. You know, having to have a specific type of song; forcing music to conform to that frame of mind is causing a lot of noise to be in and it's getting away from the song. (...) Let's stop trying to do things that other people want us to do, and let's get back to just being fluid, and writing songs, coming with ideas, and being like, "hey, let's check this out", and grading things, and being honest.
7. When I first heard it, I didn't care for it that much, but it's grown on me a lot. It's one of those songs that's just fun to drive to and blast the fuck out of your speakers.
It's popwise hip hop. Which is why it's so great.
FORMERLY KNOWN AS PHILSFAN
Its personally one of the best tracks on the album for me. I know that sounds silly, but I loved it when it came out, and for some reason i've become addicted to it again.
I just love the mixture of angry lyrics in a happy sounding stadium sized chorus, it's awesome.
And or the verses I think they're one of the best raps Mike has ever thrown out, on par with UNTIL IT BREAKS and LOST IN THE ECHO.
Love this song, i gave it a 9!
just like Mike said,i really loved its "YAY!!! FUCK YOU!!!" moment.
It sounded like a Black Eyed Peas song with Chester on the hook sooooo.... 1.
I know what it takes to move on.
9/10 For me cause there's so much going on in this song. LGM is one of the best on LTs.
Papercut ---> Lying From You/Faint ---> Bleed It Out ---> LIES GREED MISERY, lol.
9/10. Anytime you can listen to a song more then once in an hour is so worth aleast a 9 if nothing else!
Now that the record has been out for a good amount of times, I can tell that LGM is definitely in my top 3 LT songs.
Since I got the album I've skipped it regularly. It's the only one skip almost every time
I voted a 7, which turns out to be the most popular rating!
It's a really good song, I feel. It's great immediately after Burn It Down, I think they work great together. I think Burn It Down is an 8 and Lies Greed Misery is only a point down from that because of how short it is.
It's a quick punch in the face, it's not the best LP track ever, not the biggest or baddest, but I enjoy it a lot.
By no means is it the best song off of LT, but it seems to be getting a lot of hate...not trying to start an argument, but what's so bad about this song?
Picking up the pieces, now where to begin, the hardest part ofending is starting again...
Don't know if I'm allowed to do this, but here'a my scream cover of LIES GREED MISERY.
9/10 . It's really catchy (and trippy O_O). The energy is contagious and that makes if fun .
9/10. After the first listen i thought: "What the fuck is that, why do they want everyone to respect them as a band that always comes up with new styles."
But a few days later i was like: "That's really cool, something different!"
This is just as well as LITE .
