Mike is in a warehouse rapping(or a house), Chester appears during the chorus as a ghostly figure and disappears after the chorus as Mike continues to rap. Chester appears for the second chorus in a ghostly form again. When the screaming starts, the ground breaks and Chester turns into a flaming figure and spreads a fire. Mike raps as the warehouse collapses and goes on fire. Chester becomes whole again, no longer being a ghost and sings his last chorus and the song ends. It sounds silly I know :)

Actually, knowing Mr. Hahn's love of special effects, I could see something like this happening.

And hey, though it may not be the greatest idea, at least yours has some substance and continuity, as opposed to more recent LP music videos like Burn it Down, which is completely forgettable.

I hope they try to at least be creative about this music video.

Better than BID but not by much.

Joe needs to make each video unique instead of going through his little fetishes (such as his one fetish to have riot scenes in LP MV's).

Would love to see an LP video with substance... get Anton Corbijn to direct an LP video.

They should dress up as echos and sing in the dark. Brilliant.

This is crazy  but I like it. But, I don't really want another video with fire.

Also, Mr. Hahn said that the next video will probably be directed by someone else.

The Catalyst video was awesome. It had the idea of the overall artwork of A Thousand Suns. With the glitches and little picture errors that fitted the music and theme of the song perfectly. Let's hope they do something with 3D scannes of themselves and maybe combine it with the distortion. Like in the booklet of LIVING THINGS and the recent lyric videos.

    :ditto:

I just hope Joe Hahn will not do that in this ultraillumination style again, if there is anything about LP I'm really bored with, it's this. Do we really need to look just at the band playing and singing in almost every LP music video? Frankly speaking, Breaking the Habit was just one bright star for me. (Ok, maybe The Catalyst)

I can see the label trying to make LITE this album's In The End, and the videos being similar in style.

I'd like to see the video based off of the Living Things artwork. Them starting off as real people, then turning into the weird, android looking things, then exploding into the weird particles etc.

Like this, but... you know... more. And an actual video. you know what I mean.

I hope it's full of slow motion, special effects and rotating platforms showing band members in freeze-frame. :kappa:

I was thinking that, with all the comparisons it's drawing to In The End, the video might have some subtle references to the In The End video.

I think Joe is a great director, but he overuses special effects.
I know that LP's recent turn to more electronic music (which I adore) fits nicely with special effects, but not every video should be like that.
I adore riot videos, example Shadow of the Day, No Church In The Wild (Not LP but still awesome), From The Inside... My favourite video ever was The Catalyst, which featured special effects and riots. :awesome:
I like where they are going with the Lost In The Echo video.

    A flying whale? :awesome:

Yeah, the last LP video I liked was for The Catalyst. The set for this video and the fact that they're using models is interesting so I hope the video turns out well.

Yeah I agree with The Catalyst being their last interesting video (and even that was a bit erratic)
The run down buildings are actually the structures in 'In The End' 12 years on. Also, whale carcass.
