What is truth?/It's the mirror of a dream

What is truth?/It's the cousin of a lie
What is truth?/It's convuluted despite a dozen tries
It's a notion put forth by the broken
To try and add some motion to a mental state that's frozen
To blind the right hand to the left hand's doin'
To blind the sightful man into mouse-wheel movement
Deceive him into thinkin' that he's secure and he's safe
Force him to believin' he was the reason for mistakes
Make him think he was the one to make 'em all feel hurt
'Till he accepts the fate that he knew he don't deserve
'Cause even if he knows it isn't his own fault he sees
The truth can't be resolved and even through his pleas
They'll criticise every word he said/And he'll be left open
Just 'cause he believed in truth for that moment

Truth is the falacy mistaken for reality
Truth is the tragedy that caused this calamity
Truth is the landmark/For all false hope
Truth is the headstart/To where we can't cope
Truth is the dream we chase not to be achieved
Truth is the fairytale we all want to believe
Truth is the lessons learned through it's own absence

Truth is that message/That changes over time
Truth lacks consistency/Truth is a crime
'Cause the truth was the thing that had held me back
Truth was the source of my fear that faded to black
Truth was the last hope that I thought I had
Truth was the reason that everything got bad
Now I find myself talkin' about a wayward concept
Tryna find a way out/Tryna find my content
Tryna retrace my steps/Tryna regain my depth
Tryna fix this mess and just tryna catch my breath
Fightin' for a method out/And I can't feel a second's doubt
I'm just tryna reconcile/But I feel like a mess right now

Too many syllables to keep the flow here too.

Maybe change: 'Till he accepts the fate that he knew he don't deserve' to 'Till he accepts the fate that he knows he doesn't deserve' ? Or would that ruin your flow, i mean I don't really get the rhyme yet, so i'm probably no help!

It was originally 'doesn't' but that didn't flow very well no, but equally I think 'don't' is awkwardly like half a syllable too short as well I just dunno how to reword it.
