Which songs were you most surprised by?

Which songs on LT were the farthest from your expectations?

For me, I'd say Victimized and Until it Breaks. I thought Victimized was just going to be death-metallish the whole way through. I didn't expect a track that was so unique and oddball. And I was surprised by Until it Breaks' strange song structure.

Castle of Glass. I wasn't really expecting much of anything from the track because of the advance descriptions. Shame on you, article writers.

Until It Breaks. Crazy songwriting. I wonder whose idea was that. Joe's? Phoenix's? Brad's? Rick's?

The one that surprised me.....hmm Until it breaks. I was expecting it to be faster since I saw mike rapping it with the waiting for the end instrumental and then brad SANG! I wasn't expecting that!

This. When I heard the Waiting for the End version with the Until It Breaks snippet at the beginning I was really excited for this song...Mike's rapping is amazing but there's really nothing else in the song
Picking up the pieces, now where to begin, the hardest part ofending is starting again...

Until it Breaks, probably. I sort of expected it to be more like Waiting for the End, but maybe that's because of the Apache intro to it they did live

I can't say any of the album really surprised me though. Not like A Thousand Suns did anyway.

I'd say Skin To Bone. Never expected stuff like that from LP before.

It's the opposite for me actually. Mike's rapping is the bad part of the song. Brad's is the best, and Chester's is good.

Powerless by a mile, I know it's a ballad but in the past LP's ballads have never struck a massive chord with me, but by God I love that song! For me it's the best on the album though having listened a fair few times I don't think there a bad song on it. Was unsure of Until It Breaks and Skin to Bone but like them now! Roads Untraveled is another great song!
