I love how much fun they seemed to have this album cycle. Maybe it was edited to seem this way on the DVD, but they seem so stressed and so miserable at parts during ATS' recording cycle. This time they seem to be having a blast.

But that's the thing i loved with the ATS DVD. We actually got to see a more serious side from LP. Sure, they had their great and funny moments but i would love to see more serious side from them aswell. Since being in a band, or just generally making music togheter, you will get tired of each other if you are with each other each and everyday.

I think this is a testament to how much Linkin Park just said "Fuck it, let's make the album that just fucking comes to us" this time around. MtM and ATS were intentional departures from the norm, so there seemed to be some anxiety of "Did we do this right?" from the band, where on this album the only anxiety was "Does this make people shit themselves enough?"

Exactly, it's great watching the band being so relaxed. Watching how stressed they were on 'Meeting of A Thousand Suns' made me tense haha
