Ok well burn it down is nothing close to metal and LGM does not remind me of skrillex so I wiol taking this with more than a grain of salt
somebody on last.fm claims to have a legit leak and listening now. thought that worthy of a mention although probably bullshit
Horrible horrible review... BID-new wave and metal? Lol but I do hope that the "death metal" part was correct
The day LGM came out, I listened to it for my entire workout on repeat. I love working out to that kind of music.
To be honest, I think the review was badly translated to Japanese from English, we tried to Google translate it, then clean it up but it made zero sense, that's why we asked our friends to help us out to give us some idea what Chester said, I was very grateful for their translation.
Russian LP fans, check it put!
If VICTIMIZED really has a death metal feel, I'd love to hear Chester growl or go real deep at one point lol.
I did that with BURN IT DOWN! Can't remember if I did with LGM. Regardless, anytime I have a new LP song/album - it's on repeat at the gym! It's a good motivator for going to the gym as well.
Why doesn't anybody understand the one-paragraph trend now? Today, many reviewers opt for shorter and more simple explanations to express their opinions. For example, Rolling Stone uses those really long paragraph when reviewing major releases they love or prioritize, such as Kanye West's MBDTF or Bruce Springsteen's Wrecking Ball. They use short paragraphs when they want to, such as ATS or Ne-Yo's Libra Scale, which they gave a positive review. Sometimes in their song or movie reviews, RS just simple uses one paragraph or sentence. (a personal favorite of mine is when they reviewed Vampires Suck and gave it zero stars, with the entire review being "This movie sucks more.") It's not just RS. I remember the NY Post named The Catalyst one of the best songs of 2010, and gave only one sentence as a description. So yeah, many people tend to do shorter reviews now.
Damn this takes me back, great times, but also sad cause these days will never come back now ill go get depressed and BLAST LP thanks.
I agree. I like some death metal (Suicide Silence mostly) but Metalcore, Screamo, Post-hardcore, hardcore, all that stuff is so much better EDIT: looks like I'm the only one who agrees with you. I fell your pain.
Very awesome interview from Chester. I'm more excited for the album than ever. I think UNTIL IT BREAKS will sound awesome, I think a song that is really experimental and uses different styles and mashes them all together will make a kick ass LP song.
"Skin to Bone: Epic song, the chorus alsmost sounds 80sh, which musically reminds of the 80s Animes, this song is original." Really looking forward to this one now! EDIT: About the album: never thought I would ever say this but... this could be better than Hybrid Theory.
