'' A UFO'' is from an expression in french, and I don't really know if you have an equivalent in english, anyway, I don't really thibk that you can translate it. So, by ''UFO'', they meant that the song is special, original and different from the others.
Thanks for the info! In English a UFO refers to an "Unidentifiable Flying Object", as in an alien space ship. So this helps.
It's the same meaning in french, but we use it as an expression as well. Anyway, M6music is sh*t, so trust me, don't take their opinion seriously, just look at the description of BID..
Worst review ever , the guy as no idea of music or genres. i laugh (honestly) when chester said the first two tracks are more "Meteora" & "Hybrid Theory" style, and the review guy said "ELECTRO SONG"!!!!! Dude so what? from the inside is TECHNO just because of the intro?? AND THE MOST SHOCKING PART, BID IS NEW WAVE AND METAL!!! Like that !!!!New wave and after that metal, -.- honestly, this guys. When i was reading i was scared, i mean the review sounded like shit. And when it said death metal Linkin Park, i was like "Arch Enemy=LP?????", it doesn't make sense so i laugh really hard.. and ignore the review for complete wasted my time reading that bad and non-sense review... but what made me know for sure the review was really bad was Tinfoil is Electro, (and of course the rest )
I"m sorry but the ABCDane.net translation is just horrid. I appreciate what MSC, Hiro and Karen do but really, it's bad. Couldn't LPA at least try to make it more, well, um, decipherable? Other than that, thanks for the news!
These make no sense Edit: THIS IS THE REVIEW?! "If there’s one thing Linkin Park fans don’t want, it’s a politically charged concept album that’s as every bit as pretentious as U2′s most bombastic work. They pretty much told the band this after the release of 2010′s A Thousand Suns, which still managed to hit No. 1 despite the general confusion with the record. So the sextet regrouped with Suns producer Rick Rubin for their fifth album, reached back to their 2000 debut for inspiration, and emerge with a tougher, more focused LP that shoves any high-concept ideas aside in favor of fist-pumping bro-rock. So don’t expect too many surprises here. From “Lost in the Echo”’s indie-rock hip-hop to the turbo-charged chorus of “Burn It Down” to the clubby “Lies Greed Misery,” Living Things is a reconnection, for better or worse." MEGA LOL ITS A PARAGRAPH!
Besides the horrible review I'm really looking for Until It Breaks. In the MTV First interview Mike said that UIB has 4 different parts of demos and that the song is really wierd, so I'm very curious about that one among Castle Of Glass and of course, Victimized. I can't wait anymore!!!
I'm really interested in hearing any of the songs with "folk-inspired" elements to them. I guess I don't really know what makes a song "folk." Regardless I'm really liking what I've heard so far. LITE, IBG, IMR snippets really got me excited.
Wow, really? I happen to like death metal an awful lot, but your words of wisdom have opened my eyes. Enlighten me, master.
I am so glad you included that Michael Gallucci "review" haha good times in the shoutbox. Really though "Excursions of a Pop Renegade" - what a pretentious douche.
