Just going to address some of the conversation from earlier first before I include my Ultimate Linkin Park Album:

I think it's fair to say that despite the fact that Reanimation is not *technically* a Studio Release, it is an album with efforts so unique and outstanding that I will personally recognize it as one. It is not a typical Remix Album, and as I've mentioned in other threads, it is an album that not only stands second best to A Thousand Suns (in my opinion, anyway), but it's a far better record than Hybrid Theory was. It brought out the best of that album, and the reinterpretations on the whole were much more solid. It was extremely creative, and as such I think we should give it the status it deserves. It's okay if you don't like it, but I don't think it's okay to say, "Nope, wipe it off the slate, it was a remix album." Because, I have to ask you at that point - Do you even know what a remix album is? Every other band I know will put out a remix album that is full of other people taking their songs and turning them into relatively shit house mixes (in my opinion). No other band, I feel, would do what Linkin Park did and really just create something so magnificent and actually improve upon the material they released on their debut.

I have a hard time not acknowledging Meteora, because while it was very similar to HT, I still hold it with some nostalgic value. It was the album that got me into the band, so I suppose I have a hard time agreeing with other people and saying it was so bad because to me it kind of meant something. I actually like it better than HT, to be quite honest with you all. But I think at the same time that if we're going to call Meteora an album for its uniqueness, then Reanimation deserves that treatment too.
