Wow. One of the best performances I've ever seen from Linkin Park. Nearly spot on. Very, very nice.

I personally don't like the sound of this instrumental in the chorus, the guitar is louder sure, but to me it sounds discordant to the rest of the elements.

Maybe you're accustomed to the original version.
Personally, I LOVE this version with the louder guitars.

I'd love the fact that the guitar is louder in the mix, if it wasn't that Brad plays the same two (TWO) octave notes over and over.

I understand he's not as enthusiastic about playing guitar as before. But come on, it's so uncreative it's not funny.

Yeah... the guitar riff could definitely use some much needed originality. Although the guitar on LGM I find is pretty damn cool, so hopefully LT has some more interesting pieces.

The instrumentalization was not live performed?

You can even hear minor mistakes, for example in the beginning when Joe made a little mistake at his sample-pad.

I know exactly what you mean. When I play along with this song on my guitar I change it up so there's about 5 or 6 different octave chords that work really well, including the two that actually are used in the song. It'd be so simple to add just a little more to it.

I was actually thinking that you can SEE minor mistakes but don't hear them like in the beginning where Joe obviously pushed a pad that you dont here. And Rob is playing cymbals that are not in the mix. Chester did it once at such an event, so I don't think it's unlikely to happen twice.

The performance itself was amazing though. I thought the mix was perfect, the vocal performance by both Mike and Chester was top notch, and Brad seemed unusually energetic on stage as well.

Seeing them so energetic and enthusiastic makes me so amped for this album. they weren't like this with ATS, which is by far their best album. Cant wait for the album to come out!!(or leak :p)

I hope they release this on some type of live album or even LPU. Sounds great!

Actually, I don't think they used it as playback. Look at 1:00 in the instrumental. There is a high pitched noise that builds before the chorus starts, and this moment translates to 1:43 in the performance, yet the noise is absent. But I do think that they saw this instrumental and decided to turn up the guitars.:awesome:
