Yesterday Linkin Park played TINFOIL for the first time at the house of blues.
Also they played BURN IT DOWN. You can check out the links below.

Here you can listen to it:

    BID: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwZw4zzekWs
    TINFOIL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qc-JsAThhAk&feature=relmfu
And here is the setlist: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/linkin-park/2012/house-of-blues-west-hollywood-ca-73df96a1.html

Also they played Runaway after 5 years for the first time. Sounds like an awesome show that we have missed.

I guess we could use a new thread about this - so, was "Tinfoil" played in full?

I don't know, but at least it seems like it was.
Remeber what mike said about the song length. ~1:10 instrumental interlude would fit perfectly.

    Tinfoil sounds kick-ass

And somehow it has an old LP vibe...at least to me

Tinfoil reminds me of Cure For The Itch & Session mixed together. Pretty bad ass if you ask me. :WTF:

And more importantly, they played fucking With You for the first time since 2006! They played Shadow of the Day, Leave Out All the Rest and Iridescent as a medley, Blackout, and they played a Beastie Boys song over the Bleed It Out bridge? That setlist is amazing! I wish I could have been there.

The only thing that was kinda disappointing for me was that Mike stayed behind his keyboard/synthesizer thing during his part in Burn It Down. I always imagined he would jump out and perform his part at the front together with Chester, old-school style :D

Sounds like they used a lot of tools from their :toolbox:
Linkin Parks instrumentals are always amazing!
Chester would say: They kicked my mind in the balls.

Bringing back old songs like With You is awesome. I like what they're doing with their setlist.

I doubt Tinfoil was played in full. Whenever they've done instrumentals (besides Wake), it's been shortened. Such as CFTI and Session.

I'm not going to judge Tinfoil until I hear the studio version, but BID was better live because Mike's harmony on the second verse was way more clear.

They already played Burn It Down two days before that, so it's not really the debut.

Tinfoil is about 1:00 in length in the video. I highly doubt that's the entire thing.

Hahn crossfades out of it into Faint. I think there's at least a wee bit more to the song... maybe not much though.
