How much swearing do you think LIVING THINGS will have? To truly go back to their "roots" in song and album structure, i'd say don't swear, but then again I don't mind swearing on any LP song, as long as they don't go overkill this time. (Given Up i'm looking at you)
The only song i think probably will have swearing in it is VICTIMIZED, but that's just me.
What do you guys think?
Honestly there's a big part of me that feels there won't be any swearing at all. However, the swearing typically occurs when Mike's rapping, and if he's doing that more in Living Things, I suppose there is a possibility.
Personally, I don't give a flying fuck either way. I curse like a sailor so really I don't even notice it. haha
For the most part, Chester and Shinoda are pretty good at picking when and when not to swear. They've done it fairly tastefully on the last couple of albums and kept it to a minimum. I have faith that that trend will continue with this new album.

In a way, I think there will be none, but what minuteforce said makes sense too... And Mike is rapping a lot here, i don't know and I don't mind, just interested in what everyone else thinks.
If it follows the same pattern as all the reviews have set in that it's the same structure as their earlier work, I wouldn't be surprised if there were no cursing in it at all.
I bet Lies Greed Misery and Victimized will have swearing.

I don't even think there has ever been a lot of swearing on an LP record... and the only word they ever use is fuck. I've never heard shit or bitch before.

Swearing is apart of my basic vocabulary (meaning I hardly notice when someone cusses). So if there will be cussing, which I'm expecting with Living Things, I don't mind. I don't think Linkin Park will over use words like "fuck, shit, ect." because from their previous work they seemed to keep it somewhat low.

i like the swearing but it doesnt matter much if their aint any.but i think victimized may have some.
Maybe a couple of cursewords.
Sometimes they feel forced, as long as it sounds like it belongs, it's all good. The guys are in their 30s, they can curse.
