    This is just great!

Maybe the band asked to keep quiet about Tinfoil because it will be used as a reward for the scavenger hunt... So that we will all be surprised by the sound of that song?

yet another great review! Damn, it this album is this consistently good!... Though i have to say about tinfoil, i'm reckon it is an instrumental mainly for the fact how their usually very underrated/overlooked by critics & fans alike. Which i'm my opnion are often some of the best tracks. CfTi, sessions, wake, requiem for example are easily some of my fave tracks & deserve alot more respect than they get. Then again i could be 100% wrong & tinfoil turns out to be a spoken word accapella!!!

i find myself most excited about the ballads for some reason. Anyway, this interview was actually really in depth. Why does the release date feel so far away???

    Another positive review....:)

What I found interesting is the fact the album will apparently have only 2 ballads, which are due to be Until It Breaks and Powerless. I find it interesting because I initially though the folk songs would basically be the ballads of Living Things. This will not be the case apparently, so despite the fact of being "folky", STB, RU, and COG will be energetic somehow. I can't wait to hear those!

I'm strongly betting that ''TINFOIL'' will be an instrumental song. Not a bad thing, pretty awesome, actually. Every single article written for this album is positive. I can't fucking wait for this album.

Well, I guess they couldn't resist an instrumental. Though it's an ATS-based instrumental so I guess it could be interesting.

What else is interesting is the discrepancy between earlier reviews of "Until It Breaks" vs the newer ones. It definitely has rapping on it, and was described as an intense 90s rap song. Now it's being called a ballad.

    Good find, Dementia!

"That's killer". The guy felt obligated to post something positive about it too. He is obviously in love with LP

Yep, I though about that too. But since Mike say the older reviews were misleading, I would more trust the "ballad" description. But it has rapping on it, definitely, since there were various reviews which confirmed it. I'm curious about that track..

I think it's more likely that perhaps Noisecreep mixed up one song with another. I find it odd that 2-3 publications call it intense, and then this one comes along and says "yeah it's a ballad".

Aside from the mentioned discrepancy a couple posts above mine, I actually respect this review more than the ARTISTdirect interview. It way better written and doesn't seem to constantly drool all over this record.

ARTIST Direct also said Until It Breaks was a ballad, so I don't think Noisecreep mixed up songs

A ballad can be intense and have rap on it, it's not THAT odd finally

Perhaps that's maybe why Mike said 50%+ of the descriptions were misleading .

Yeah, they both have said it. I guess it just means that the song is very diverse in the way it changes? We'll see. It's one of my most anticipated tracks for sure though.

Yes, according to this, the song seems to have an evolution in its structure. It could explain why the descriptions of the whole song are such very different.

Based off of that it makes sense. Kinda seems like an ATS type track, since many of ATS' tracks had a heavy start that blended into a second half that was totally different from the beginning.

Ladies and gentlemen, Rap + Ballad = Waiting for the End.

Sure it's not intense or aggressive, but it's arguably the most energetic part of the track.
