    The "no context" thread

    DISCLAIMER: I don't know if this has been done before on this board and, if it has (esp. recently), I apologise profusely in advance!

    Inspired by r/nocontext on Reddit, this is a thread where you post quotes that seriously would never sense outside of context. I'm talking about sentences you heard in IRL conversations or IM chats, on message boards, Facebook, whatever. Doesn't matter how recent it is. The more random/obscure/harder to understand it is, the better.

    - It's up to you whether or not you want to link to context but please don't explain anything in your post.
    - If someone posts some in-joke thing that you recognise (hopefully because you were there when it started), please don't explain it or brag about being in on the joke.
    - I'd like to not have conversations; I understand they may be unavoidable but let's give it ago. If you come across something funny in this thread and want to tell everyone you laughed out loud, that's cool, but keep it brief.
