LIVING THINGS Scavenger Hunt: Progress & Discussion

You stated that the majority of people who "cared" though were from here. Even though the post count is higher here, I can see from how some people on this forum whether intentionally or unintentionally feel that this is the way solving the puzzle should be. I feel *personally* that this is an activity that should unite the sites, rather than criticize others.

I'm not saying that you are putting down LPL, but the way some people consider that there needs to be 1000 posts for progress to be made is inaccurate in my opinion.

It's not that there has to be thousands of posts, not even close. The point is that the community here is extremely active and spends a lot of time chatting and discussing even in periods of downtime. Compare that to other LP fansites that get fairly barren even in the middle of events like this.

 

I'm not being critical, just observing. I've supported both sites for over 3 years. I came to LPA through RED's ARG and have nothing but respect for what is here.

 

From what I've seen, a huge complaint about the LPA according to the LPL core is that people are just discussing random crap in the threads. Which begs me to wonder how their conversations generally go. Rarely do conversations online or in real life ever follow a direct path or stay on topic. And then they say that new information is hard to find when the news post itself, the very first post in the thread, is constantly updated.

It just sounds like they're hating on the people in this thread for being excited. FOR SHAME.

I honestly think this website surpasses any other LP site. Seriously, the exclusives, the recognition from the band (mostly Mike), and of course "Derek the Infamous.

I'm not trying to offend you I think my point was misconstrued there and I apologize. I misunderstood the point you made then and I apologize.

As a fan that has submitted news stories and setlists for both sites I am a firm supporter of both and I clearly misunderstood a comment that I felt was saying that inactivity was the incorrect way of moving forward. Let's let it rest here.
