@Kmid24 Yeah it appeared on Meeting of A Thousand Suns, as shown on the image above.
The lyrics they had before were trying too hard to sound spacey/introverted and sounded weak. Sorry, but even with a more personal aspect, I favor the final by a long shot. Especially the 'caught in the burning glow' metaphor.

In all seriousness though, we really haven't had a lot of footage of Mike laying down vocals, aside from the Minutes to Midnight DVD.
I was thinking the same thing. Even the Minutes To Midnight footage of him recording vocals was limited.
I'm talking about the rap lyrics on this one. It's saved by "fan the flames as your blazes burn" but the rest is lame...

I hadn't thought about it and yeah he hasn't got much camera time while on the booth. Strange. And now that you mention the MTM DVD, the part where he's singing No Roads Left is awesome.
I'm wondering, I got the feel that the LPTV's covering for "Buried at Sea" ended here, even though they've never said they were two parts, I always thought they were. So my question would be, what's next for them to show? I don't think they will just splash 3 or 4 more episodes about tracks we haven't heard at all, though it would be nice, but I don't think they'd do that. Way too easy.
Both are demo titles that showed up at some point during the Meeting of A Thousand Suns/LPTV episodes from the ATS recording sessions.

Also, typical LP "messageboard fan" mindset: Any music that hasn't been heard before is awesome by default, so if it's a different version of a song we already have, it MUST be more awesome than the "regular" version.
The demo lyrics suck. A lot of LP's demo lyrics suck. That's why they're demo lyrics.

Cool episodes. Hoping for some other sneak peeks of recording processes, though I doubt we'll get these until a few weeks before the album release.
If the BID video is released soon, they'll probably show the making of short afterwards through lptv.
