I definitely understand what you mean. I was a bit skittish about this remix, considering this is my favorite LP song ever, I feel that was justified. But man, I was blown away...this is amazing and just seems so incredibly natural.

I think that's what made most of the tracks on Reanimation so good...they seemed natural.

:) I love The Glitch Mob's version and I love that this one by The Kickdrums is completely different.

i liked this remix very much, which had no comparison to my own remix of waiting for the end, very refreshing :)

the 'Beatles' feel that everyone is talking about......LOL....you dont say, ohh if you like red you'll love my new painting, so why do people insist on saying it sounds like someone else, when it comes to music ?

Let me tell my opinion in two ways.

Mature way: That was a wonderful remix. Good job! The guys would be so proud!

Fangirl way: OMG! That was like so awesome!! *squeal then faints*

I agree, it was meh and lacked energy. The only excitement came from the vocals that were in the original song. It's like... you can look at the sexy naked vocals, but you have to have sex with this song with three condoms on as you mentioned.

EDIT: .... and by I agree I mean I agree with you before you listened a second time, which prompted me to listen a second time with the volume up louder, but I'm still not feeling it

Great remix, but I still prefer the original. The best part of WFTE to me is the last minute or so, and that part just doesn't have the same power in the remix.

    Very impressive, though.

Wow, I really like this remix! Not too keen on Mike's rap part though, but other than that I think it's awesome.

Trust me, I had years of being a bit touched in the head when it comes to bands! Started in the seventies....*lay down on sofa telling life story*

This is my kind of remix. Probably my favorite remix within the past twelve months. Bravo.

Just to be clear, I think the original is better but this and The Glitch Mob's are both top notch.

Any download for this? I love it!!! Great remix!! Definitely adds to the ''I don't want people to feel normal listening to this record, I want people to feel like they're on drugs'' quote from Chester.

I loved this, so pleasant and mellow.

That being said, I think this comes across as more of a cover whereas The Glitch Mob version's a legit remix

"Comes across as more of a cover" you say?
It's not electronic so it's not a remix?! NO WAY!
They reinterpreted the song. That makes it a cover.
So what you think is wrong. Go cry to your mother.
