    NME have posted more from their interview with Mike Shinoda. In this article, Mike talks about working with Owen Pallett on the band's fifth studio album titled "LIVING THINGS". Owen Pallett is known for his work with Arcade Fire as well as composing string arrangements for the likes of Snow Patrol, Duran Duran and R.E.M.

    Mike also spoke about working with producer Rick Rubin again on LIVING THINGS.

    I'm thinking Phoenix did the strings and Mike did the arrangement. It'd be fucking cool if he played them but I doubt that since that was the only instrument he didn't do in Fort Minor.

    Sounds exciting! And it's nice to read that sometimes other boys in the band are doing the phonecalls and e-mails. Regarding strings, I would've expected Phoenix in that case to contact Owen, not Rob, which is a very good surprise! :D

    Also, it would be awesome if what Jack said is right, having Phoenix playing some strings in the album..

    Though it wouldn't surprise me if Mike did them himself, it's been 7 years since FM, he's had plenty of time to learn how to play strings.
