I think it's hilarious that someone a few pages back counted HT and Meteora's instrumentals as "songs" but decided to set every instrumental on ATS apart from the songs. Really? I think the quality to quantity thing needs to be re-evaluated-- Not that I think Living Things will flat out suck, but we're all making assumptions based on 1) Nothing or 2) Track titles. Oh. Wait. Nevermind. I just remembered which fanbase I'm speaking with.

I hope the most melodic songs sound like Grey Daze or Dead By Sunrise style. That's the kind I actually really enjoy. You start going in M2M territory, and it just sounds too generic and mainstream.

jumping in on this: the Tracklist seems interesting, to say the least. Lies, Greed and Misery sounds bad, but I`m looking forward to the Album nonetheless. And did I read that right, that Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be treated with the Record on June 22nd already?

Why do I feel like this is going to be an insanely self-reflexive album for Linkin Park? Already, Burn It Down feels like another comment about how they treat their music, aimed at their fans.

Seriously, debating song titles and speculating is all good and fun, but what were people saying about the title Empty Spaces when it first came out? Did they eat crow after they said "OMG MOST EPIX SONGZ EVAAARZ TITLE." But of course, to some it is the best track on the album. Real experimental.
