Somewhat underrated, incredibly good bands. Anyone else listen to them?

I suspect any hardcore Bloc Party fans would probably consider me a bit mainstream for saying this, but "I Still Remember" from "A Weekend In The City" is one of my all time favourite songs. I do listen to and like some of their other stuff too.
That's probably the equivalent of someone saying "Oh yeh, I quite like Linkin Park, they have that song called 'Numb' that I really like" but there ya go![]()
Thanks LPA for selecting me as 'Monthly Mix-Up' Winner for:BundleOfNerves: Mike just comes out of the gates swinging, though.

and as a Runner-Up for: July '12 (Burn It Down) and October '12 (I'll Be Gone/Victimized/In My Remains).

I listened to some random TVOTR songs. Never really went back to them, though I kinda want to.
Mind posting some of their best songs?
I believe their music is pure gold.
i frigging adore Bloc Party. IMO one of THE best British Bands. Their Sound is so unique and interesting. Look at the 3 Albums so far: They all sound different. I`m really excited for the new Album, which is hopefully coming this Summer. A Tour is also planned, Festivals as well (e.g. Open'er Festival in Poland, which i`m attending third year in a row). Love 'em.
Bring me home in a blinding dream,
through the secrets that I have seen.
Wash the sorrow from off my skin
and show me how to be whole again.

Bloc party is one of the greatest bands ever, seriously. I think a lot of people overlook A Weekend in The City, there are some absolutely great tracks on there besides Hunting for Witches and Song for Clay etc. Take a look at Uniform and Sunday (especially from 3:35 onwards, probably one of the greatest moments in Bloc Party's music.) I also think Compliments is one of their greatest songs ever, even though the lyrics are literally less then a paragraph.
Sorry for the semi-bump, and its 6 days late, but Bloc Party are releasing a new album "four" this year in August.

Sounds pretty good to me. I haven't actually listened to Intimacy in full yet, but this seems to going back to their guitar roots a little bit while having some pretty awesome strings in that song at the end.
Missed this thread the first time. Anyway, that Bloc Party trailer sounds really promising. I've been meaning to give Intimacy another go, as I didn't pay much attention to it when it came out.
I used to be a pretty big Bloc Party fan, and I suppose I still am a fan in some capacity, but after listening to their discography endlessly on repeat before seeing them in concert in 2008, they began to grate on me. I haven't gone out of my way to listen to them in years.
TVOTR, I don't know. Might check them out.
Bloc party have just started touring again and started off with a few intimate fan club gigs and they debuted a bunch of new songs (around 7 I think).
I haven't even gotten around to listening to all of them properley, but it sounds pretty great.

^ Yeah, Kele's vocals are like.. wow. The vocal interplay between Kele and Gordon before that bit is awesome too.
New single Octopus is out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkeUF...layer_embedded
Don't what to think of it yet, definetely a song you need to listen to a few times.
Listened to it a couple of times now, and its really growing. I`m glad they are back![]()
GUYS. THESE BANDS ARE AMAZING. HOW THE FUCK I DIDN'T KNOW THEM BEFORE?

Hi friends i like to watch different TV Show's and events on my TV because i am actually getting ideas while i was watching these events because i am a event planner and i am organizing different events in different cities so this is very important show and musical show's that i have been watched on the TV...
I seriously did not understand a thing you said. 'TV on the Radio' is a band and this thread isn't about watching TV.
Edit: On topic, Bloc Party's album can be listened to online in full here: http://four.blocparty.com/#interactive
