    What Are Your "Happy" Albums?

So I've been jamming Weezer's blue album a lot lately, and I've noticed that it never ceases to bring a smile to my face, more so than any other album I listen to. What albums have that effect on you?

Any good album will bring a smile to my face - because it's good.

Happy albums? I had to think about that for a little bit.

The most recent would easily be Out Of Frequency by The Asteroids Galaxy Tour
Song is Ghost In My Head.

Before that was Diablo Swing Orchestra, either of their two albums, both are fantastic.
Pink Noise Waltz; off of their first album, The Butcher's Ballroom.
They say the grass is always greener on the otherside,
If so, do birds dream of walking, while we dream to fly?

What NightofNeptune said. But specifically happy, favourite albums/bands:

    -John Butler Trio-
Grand National (Good Excuse, Fire In The Sky)
Sunrise Over Sea (Zebra, Company Sin)
April Uprising (Ragged Mile, Don't Wanna See Your Face)

and of course this performance of Ocean, incredible.

    -Joe Satriani-
Professor Satchafunkilus & the Musterion of Rock (Out of the Sunrise, Prof. Satchafunkilus)
Super Colossal (Just Like Lightnin, A Cool New Way)
Joe Satriani (Cool #9, Slow Down Blues)

I could list so much more from Satch, but it's getting crowded.

    -Rodrigo y Gabriela-
    11:11 (Buster Voodoo, Hora Zero)
    RyG (Tamacun, Diablo Rojo)

And their Area 52 re-interpretation album with the Cuban orchestra, that's fuckin happy. And awesome. Go buy it.

Then there's other stuff like Rory Gallagher, Katzenjammer, Lisa Hannigan, Zeppelin,.. but I've said too much already...

    Passion Pit - Manners
Two Door Cinema Club - Tourist History
The Boys of Summer - What It's All About
And basically any Owl City album lol. There's more but I can't recall them right now.

Edit: Gotta add Contra by Vampire Weekend and Some Nights by Fun. They always make me smile.

    LOVERBOY!!! XD
We're all a little weird and life is a little weird, and when we find someone who's weirdness is compatible with ours we fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.

The Mars Volta - De-Loused In The Comatorium

Not a happy album, but whenever I listen to it I tend to be in a really good mood.

^ This, plus Clint Mansell's "Requiem For A Dream" score.

This would be a pure disaster

    Simple, peppy, and upbeat tunes.

It's all nice and happy until you start having technical difficulties.

    Besides Linkin Park:

Rise Against "Appeal To Reason" and "Endgame"
    Shinedown "The Sound Of Madness"
Taproot "Welcome," "Blue-Sky Research," "Our Long Road Home," "Plead The Fifth."
Foo Fighters "The Colour And The Shape"

There are probably more, but these are just a few...
    HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED PICTUREBOARD YET?

The cycle repeated as explosions broke in the sky
all that I needed was the one thing I couldn't find
And you were there at the turn waiting to let me know
We're building it up to break it back down
We're building it up to burn it down
We can't wait to burn it to the ground
The colors conflicted as the flames climbed into the clouds
I wanted to fix this but couldn't stop from tearing it down
And you were there at the turn caught in the burning glow
And I was there at the turn waiting to let you know
You told me yes you held me high And I believed when you told that lie
I played that soldier you played king And struck me down when I kissed that ring
You lost that right to hold that crown I built you up but you let me down
so when you fall I'll take my turn and fan the flames as your blazes burn

Except for "Runaway", Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is generally an album that brings back memories from a few years ago and makes me warm inside.

    Oh, and Waka Flocka Flame.
