    Linkin Park To Headline Rock in Rio Lisbon 26/5/2012

    Linkin Park will be headlining Rock In Rio in Lisbon, Portugal on May 26th, 2012. Tickets will go on sale, March 3rd on the festivals official website.

    The band will be performing with the Smashing Pumpkins, The Offspring, Limp Bizkit, with more bands to be announced on a later date.

    This is the 8th date announced for their upcoming tour, and the earliest show to be announced.

    Here is the current list of dates announced for the tour:

    May 26th - Lisbon, Portugal (Rock in Rio Lisbon 2012)
    May 27th - Landgraaf, Netherlands (Pinkpop Festival 2012)
    May 30th - Skive, Denmark (Skive Festival 2012)
    June 1st - Nürburg, Germany (Rock am Ring 2012)
    June 3rd - Nuremberg, Germany (Rock im Park 2012)
    June 8th - Nickelsdorf, Austria (Nova Rock Festival 2012)
    June 10th - Moscow, Russia (Maxidrom Festival)
    June 14th - St. Petersburg, Russia

    I remember that for Meteora they started touring about a month before the album was released but they played some new songs live. I'm expecting something like that is going to happen this time around too.

    I'm thinking the UK date on this tour will be either Reading/Leeds or their own giant show like RTR at MK Bowl. I think the latter is more likely.
